Need vacation ideas...
I know vacations will never quite be the same, now that we have an almost 5 month old. I'm planning on going somewhere with DH, his brother and his brother's wife, and their 2 kids. Juliana will be 10-11 months this summer, and BIL's 2 kids will be 4 1/2 and 22 months. We're looking for somewhere that isn't just beach (which would be what SIL and I want) but also somewhere where our husbands can go do something. Any thoughts? Any good beach destinations with other activities?

We took Adam to Bethany Beach, Delaware, in September, the week after Labor Day. Because it was the off season, we rented a very nice 2-bedroom condo at Sea Colony for just over $100 per night. My mom went with us so we were able to go out a few nights.
The resort had many pools, which was great for a little one who can't run around in sand and ocean, including a bunch of kiddie pools and an indoor one if the weather was bad. Adam was 7 months at that point, so we were very much on his schedule, which included 3 naps per day. If you go during the season, you'll pay much more but the resort also has LOTS of activities for kids and a shuttle to take you to the beach and indoor pool from other areas of the resort, which is huge.
Again, on the off season it was easy to get around - shopping in Rehoboth, boardwalk in Rehoboth, the town of Lewes, etc. And there's Bear Trap golfing for the guys, fishing, Dover for Nascar and more, if they're into any of that.
