    My mp3 player never left my bag, mostly b/c I tried to sleep whenever possible. The labor process makes you more tired than you know.

    I took my birthing ball with me but never ended up using it for the same reason as above

     I really recommend bringing a sleep mask. It's perfect for when the nurses pop in and turn the lights on on the middle of the night
