In addition to the points already made, the practice of employing wetnurse services was common in western culture until relatively recently, and is still common in many cultures.

I also think it's awesome that her daughter is a year old and she's still BF'ing. ?Good for her. ?BF'ing is really hard, and I admire anyone who can do it successfully for that long.
What a great example. She is BFing her DC past a year and BFing others. Honestly though in her culture a woman BFing another woman's starving baby would have never made the news it is just what humans do, they help each other out (there is no such thing as "that's not my problem".)
