I cannot stand the word fart.
Growing up we called them pookies. FIL calls them fanny bubbles. DH and I usually just say that DD pooted.
What do you call them?
Growing up we always said pooted. I remember being embarrassed when one of my friends had no idea what I was talking about when I said pooted.
Now we say that DD tooted. I just think that fart sounds so harsh.
Dh calls them farts.
I call them rootie toots! LOL

Fart was a bad word when I was growing up My grandma always said she'd 'fluffed'
We taught DS 'toot'.
Another cute thing I've heard is that you've stepped on a barking spider
