Need help/advice

Since Sarah was sick a few weeks ago, she has developed this strong attachment to me.  Before getting sick, we never experienced any separation anxiety problems...but now..OH MY GOSH!!!  She has started freaking out!  

For example, bedtime routine used to be 10 min tops and she was out.  Last night we had DH try to put her down. After 45 minutes of her crying hysterically (she was still in his arms), I went in there.  She literally jumped from his arms into mine, wrapped her arms and legs around me and sobbed for another 15 min before settling down!

I am at a loss here.  Any advice?

    oh girly, I'm sorry.  :(  Joey did this to me last night too... DH could NOT do it... he just screamed for me. 

    I hope she gets better.. keep having your husband try.

    Orion seems to go through these phases at least once a week. ?One week he'll be super clingy to me and another he'll be clingy to DH. ?We just give in to them, if possible, until they pass. ?Usually it doesn't last more than a couple of days.

    We've been going through a clingy phase since Joe started walking. I think he feels the separation from me more now that he is more independent....and he doesn't like it.

    That's weird - my Sarah is going through a similar phase, only not quite as intense.  Last night it took FOR-EV-ER to put her to bed!  I don't have advice to give.  I'm hoping it's a phase that passes and right now I'm just giving her the extra attention she seems to want.

    Amelia is going through this too, it's no fun.  What I've found that works is changing up the same old routine a bit and doing something different.  Perhaps she is just bored with the same old routine and just needs a little extra cuddling.  I really hope that helps!
