2nd Trimester

I've been shamed into eating healthier

My Bradley Method instructor has us filling out charts of what we eat each day to make sure we're getting the right nutrients.  I was already working on getting in more veggies and I've worked my way up to getting enough calcium, but I'm way too embarrassed to have things on there like fast food 3 times a week, 3 servings of sour punch straws in one sitting or half a pizza.  Maybe if I always had to show people what I ate I'd eat healthier all the time, lol.

  • I remember having to do that for my Hypnobabies class...I ate so well that week!  It was the Brewer diet, right?  Keep that protein up ladies!!

  • At least you are being honest about it!  I'll admit I don't look at the portion sizes on everything and holding myself accountable could only help me. Good luck.
  • Isela, yup, it's the Brewer diet!  I'm trying to come up with ways to get another 48 grams of protein for dinner/snack.  That's the only part I'm really worried about not meeting.

Madonna, actually, looking at portion sizes would only help you in this situation since we're not supposed to be tracking calories for the class and most people would tend to eat more than a single portion unless they measure it out.  That just means you'd get to count more nutrients!
