Baby Shower Question

I have a baby shower coming up that starts at 11 in the morning, I was planning on doing a pregnancy photo shoot after my shower, problem is I don't know how long my shower will last. I know this question is hard to answer because it really just depends on when everyone leaves, etc. but typically how long would a baby shower last? TIA.

    I'd say a good couple hours, plus you will be loading up all your gifts. I'd allow at least 2.5 hours.

    Don't plan you session for less than an hour and a half after your shower is supposed to end.  They're typically 2 hours, but mine lasted 3. If you give yourself an hour and a half you'll have time to talk after and get ready for your session.

    That's about what I was thinking. I was going to tell the photographer to start around 3 --- the location shoot isn't far from the shower location so it won't take long to get from point A to point B. Smile

    I think after 3pm sounds good.  Plus, the photog may want that afternoon light so sooner may not work anyway.  Have fun!
