The twins will take over our bedroom and DH wants to do an ocean/under the sea theme and I'm not really thrilled, but I am glad he's finally showning an interest in this pregnancy (he's been freaking!). Anyway one wall is all window and a few years ago we had custom blinds put in and b/c of the cost, want to leave them, They are dark green (hunter? forest? I dunno). Any suggestion for a wall color that would bring together the dark green and an ocean theme? Thanks!

Re: Under the sea theme- color help!
In every "under the sea" kids mural or picture I've seen, there is alway some algae, or fish, or a turtle that is dark green, so leaving the blinds should be good. The wall color depends, are you going to do a mural, or wall stickers, or pictures to bring in your theme? I think a light blue/turquoise color would work and would tie in with your theme nicely. I know it may be hard to imagine because right now you are just looking at the blinds and thinking dark green, but as long as all the colors are incorporated into your decor somewhere in the room, it will all tie in together. Also maybe you can find some fabric with some blue and dark green to use as a top treatment over the blinds like panels or a valance.
Good luck!
