Grr... Not so DH

so my H is mad at me because I made a comment about his cousin snapping at me on the way home from his mom's... and of course he says she didn't. And now he is all pissy...

But I just get the feeling some of his family members don't like me. And this cousin has openly said she hopes we get divoriced and that she doesn't like me. I should have just let it go and not said anything to him about it :-(

F*ck her and him. My husband's family hated me when we got married because they are Iranian and I'm, well, not. I've told my husband that I just don't have the energy to put up with their sh!t while I'm pregnant--not with the hormones, the morning sickness, the fatigue, nothing. Now they love me. Once they see that you just don't give a sh!t about them, they'll respect you. Trust me, his is the most irrational family ever and they just backed off, which is exactly what I wanted. Don't let them get to you. That's exactly what they want so just ignore them.

you should be able to talk openly about that with your hubby- he's probably feeling like he needs to defend them or doesn't want to believe it because it hurts his feelings too. let him cool down and then tell him you were sharing that info with him not to get mad at him or offend him, but because you're feelings were really hurt and he's the one person you can talk to openly about that stuff. i'm sorry. thats not a fun position to be in... trust me, i can relate. my dh's fam aren't the most accepting and the view me as the witch who stole away their one true love. its odd.
