HI! I just replied on one of your replies below, but I'm not sure if you'll read it. I lurk on this board because I live in OC, but I'm mostly on 1st tri. I am seeing Dr. Mozayeni on Tuesday for my 1st appointment.  Do you remember if they do an ultrasound or at least listen for the heartbeat at the 1st appointment?  I've tried asking the appointment people, and they just can't seem to answer me.  Thanks!

    I think it depends how far along you are. I was TTC, so I was on top of the pregnancy and my 1st appt was at 8 weeks. And yes, they did an ultrasound, but I don't think they listened for the heartbeat... I can't remember.

    And, for what it's worth... someone told me in the beginning of my pregnancy that I should do a pregnancy journal and write down what happens at the appointments and when special milestones happen. I didn't listen to their advice and now I regret it. If I had, I might actually be able to tell you what happened at the 1st appt. So, my advice.. do a pregnancy journal. LOL

    Good Luck with your pregnancy. Dr. Mozayeni is GREAT! I went into labor while she was off shift and she actually came in to deliver since she knew how important it was to me to have her deliver my baby.

    Oh.. and I totally know what you mean about the appt girls. They can be less than pleasant sometimes. Haha.

    I'm so glad to hear such good things about her!  My regular doctor there is Dr. Crane, but she is on maternity leave (how ironic), so they set me up with Dr. Mozayeni.  Maybe if I like her, I'll just stay with her even if Dr. Crane comes back.  Thanks for the reply!

    Yeah, she's great. I'm actually really bummed that I have to switch to Kaiser, because that means that I can no longer see her. =(
