If I slip or fall on the ice 1 more freaking time I'm going to tweak!!!! This was the 3rd time... 2nd time today that I did so... the driveway is like a freaking ice rink! Angry

Can't you get someone out there with sand and/or salt? Or park in the street and then walk on the lawn?

It's actually my parents drive way, and I"m there all the time, but they use salt all the time, my dad actually just went and bought 100lbs more of it, but as far as walking in the yard.. there's like 4 feet of snow in it. Hehe. Some parts are higher. I'm just sick of the winter, this ones been bad.

I feel ya! We rent a townhome and the sidewalks are suppose to be cleared by the complex. HA! We got 6 inches of snow compounded with ice and it took two days and, oh, 6 phone calls before they decided to do a clean up of any sort (and it wasn't that clear). Everytime my in-laws come over they comment on the two inches of ice that cover the sidewalk from my door to the parking lot. And walking in the snow wasn't an option - it was over my boots/knees. The threat of a lawsuit from multiple tenans doesn't seem to bother them. Good luck! Lets hope spring hurries up and gets here already!

We don't really get winter here. Kind of stinks, but now after hearing about slipping on ice, I am feeling a little bit better about where I live.
