Sorry, I think I missed last week ![]()
QOTW:
1) We all know SO much changes in us during pregnancy... Have you noticed any changes in your husband?
2) Updates? How are you feeling?

Re: ***Central PA Moms-to-Be Check In!***
1. The husband has definitely become... mushier LOL. He is really good at keeping me fed
I find his fuse is also longer - there are sometimes I can't HELP but to yell at him, things have to be done just so. There are times I know I am being bitchy, but I can't help it - I htink he's adjusting to my mood swings
2. Officially in the second trimester!
Had another appointment this week. No weight gain this month, blood count is perfect, iron count perfect, no CF carrier, no HIV, no STDs LOL
She did say she thinks I will feel the baby early - we couldn't get a numerical reading on the heartbeat. Baby doesn't like being invaded
Everytime she would get the heartbeat on the doppler, the baby would hit it and run away! So she thinks early because of how active it was! I'm looking forward to that!
Can you update my due date to the 14th? Thanks!
1) He has always catered to me and done A LOT around the house but I don?t do ANY thing anymore. He cleans, washes the dishes, does the laundry and puts it away, takes the dogs out, even makes dinner for me on nights he is home.
2) I have been hit with a wave of exhaustion this week. I went to bed at 9pm last night and could barely wake up to get out of bed this morning at 5:30 and slept in until 6:15 then had to rush to get ready in time. It feels more and more real to me that I will have a son in a few months, the nursery is in progress and I love seeing the crib everyday.
1. He's obviously more attentive, but then he doesn't really have a choice! He does seem to worry more than he used to but I think that will pass after she is born.
2. I am 31 weeks today!!!!! I have a doctor appt and am hoping they will release me off bed rest at 36 weeks. My baby furniture should be here by the end of the week!
Megan can you change my due date from the 14th to the 12th? The Drs were using both initially but now it seems they've settled on the 12th. Thanks!
1) I think we fight less often. He knows I don't need the added stress so I think we're both more likely to talk things out. It's been great! He's definitely very mushy too... lots of compliments for me and lots of belly kisses for Pumpkin.
2) Feeling good, just a little tired. I'm starting to feel "fatter" but I should have expected big changes on this 4'10" body. Had a regular appt on Monday and everything is good. I'm measuring and weighing right on track. Pumpkin's heartbeat is good. I have another u/s later in the month to take another look at her spine, heart and the placenta. Hopefully any issues will be cleared up! My parents are visiting this weekend to put our crib together. So exciting!
1. Not nearly as much this time around. But I think a big part of it is both of us just having so much on our plates right now. He definitely isn't as attentive as he was the first time around - lol! But he's still awesome and helpful when I really need it, and that's what counts:)
2. Nothing too exciting. I had an appt on Monday and I was measuring big, but the mw who I saw I hadn't met yet and she was kind of weird and the whole appointment was kind of weird in general, so I'm trying to justn ot worry much about it. I have an u/s in 2 weeks to check my scarring from the c-section and placenta location to make sure we're still good to go for the vbac, so I'm excited to get to see her again since I dind't think I'd get to!
Congrats to all the new moms!!!!!!!!
1. My DH is wonderful!! I couldn't ask for anything better. He is normally very good to me so this doesn't make it any different. He LOVES to clean, do laundry and cook...he is wonderful! I know this will continue once the baby arrives.
2. Nothing too exciting. I had my 2nd OB appt last week and everything looks great. I'm just waiting for my progesterone results this afternoon. I'm sure I will stay on the shots but I really don't mind them anymore. I'm just used to going there twice a week so if or when this stops I won't know what to do.
I noticed this morning that my belly is really starting to get hard and popping out more. I really thought it would take longer since I am so tall but I guess not. I'm excited to get my little bump. A couple coworkers noticed the other day so it's getting harder to hide.
1. He's definitely been a ton sweeter. Although he still jokes that I can't turn into a b!tch when i get really grumpy, he also says he can't wait to take care of me when I get big and start "waddling" - yes, he really said that. He's also offered to make dinner more often than normal but still not too much. Unfortunately, I haven't had any aversions or morning sickness to keep me from cooking.
2. I am finally (i think) getting over a cold and I had a little big of the plague going around last week (but luckily not too much) but I am finally getting some more sleep which I think is my main issue. I did have some awful dreams over the weekend though so I guess those crazies are starting!
Big U/S Scheduled for 2/23!!!
1. Nope! DH has always been pretty attentive and helpful. He's continued this behavior throughout my pregnancy.
2. I have an ultrasound tomorrow! I was diagnosed with a low lying placenta at my 20 week ultrasound. This is just a follow up to check if it has moved up. I'm so excited to see my little girl!
DH has become much more protective and watchful over me. He worries about me wearing heels, he won't let me get out of the car near ice unless he helps me, he scolds me for curling up into a tight, comfy ball on the couch (he thinks I'm cramping the baby), he asks how much I had to eat each day when I get home from work, etc. It's kind of cute.
Only updates are (1) we've narrowed baby furniture down to two options, so that we can go ahead and order after the big u/s on the 24th, and (2) at my last appointment my doctor said not to worry about not having gained much weight or started to show yet, as they're comfortable with any gain between zero and 10 pounds through week 20, as long as everything else is OK.
Congrats to all the new moms!
Hello -- Please add me to the list - For now I will say 9/18 for my edd.
1. My DH has been awesome since day one!! He is always very caring and attentive!! He takes great care of me always!!
2. Other than nausea and exhaustion, no changes really. I was sick yesterday, I am leaning more towards a virus for that.
