Is it bad that...?

Ok, so I'm due 6/28 right now.  Is it bad that I kind of want a July baby just because I like the birthstone better? 

I LOVE being an October person myself, but I hate both the opal and rose-quartz birthstones I've had my whole life (and thus don't use at all).....June isn't THAT bad (pearl or anthracite, both of which are quite girly), but a ruby is so much prettier, I think!

Of course, if we have a boy, he won't care either way, I'm sure, so....It isn't a huge deal!  haha!

    That's not bad at all!!

    My birthday is in July, and I'm due in July too...I think ruby is beautiful.

    Oh I didn't even think about that. The ruby is a lot nicer! But I'll take anything over the yellow one. What month is that?

    When is your U/S?  Are you finding out if the babe is a boy or girl?

    Nah, I don't think it's bad.  I agree with the pp who said that you probably won't care about this when you're overdue though.  Wanting the baby to come a little late is better than wanting it to come before you're full term or something.

    I am a June baby and my birthstones are pearl and alexandrite. Alexandrite can range in many colours from pink, to red, to green...and pearl is very classy...

    I kinda hope I go in early. My dad's birthday is May 31st, and I'm due June 3. I think my dad would love to have his first grandchild share his birthday with him.

    U/S is at 8 AM Monday morning....we can't wait to find out. 

    It isn't a huge deal, just something I thought of when I saw someone else's post this morning about a birthstone bracelet for her as a gift when her baby was born and wondered what the June/July birthstones were. 

    Plus, I was 3 days late, and 2 friends both delivered 5-6 days late (today), so I really don't think this baby will be on time! 

    And if it isn't a boy, we know it won't matter at all b/c he wouldn't care his whole life, but it was just a random thought...

    I've thought of that too.  I'm due 8/2 and I was looking at birthstones once I got my due date and realized how much I don't like August's.

    I agree with PP, Your going to be begging the kid to be a june baby by the time july 1st comes around!

    I was born in August and I love my birthstone, it's peridot, like a lime green, but green is my favorite color.
