Okay the question is should I buy just the bumper, and get blue, white,

and orange sheets, shirt ect.?? The bumper is PBK and is $100, waaay

more than I would spend but if I can make the rest cheaper maybe I could talk my self into it. WWYD? Or if that was the only pattern in the room, do you think it wouldn't look pulled together (I am also going to copy the monkey pattern and paint it on the walls in some places)

That bedding is adorable and I haven't seen it before! I would say go for the bedding, you might be able to get away with not using the bumper, maybe just a solid baby blue one, and you could do the same thing with the sheets too. IMO though, I say get the bedding because it is really cute!

The only pattern we had in DD's room was her sheets and it looked fine.

If you really like it, get the set...you'll need extra sheets regardless of what you buy but it might be nice to have the pricey ones that match the set, too.

We plan on doing this set too, but we will get everything except the bumper. We dont plan on using the bumper anyway, and when we do it will be one of the breathable ones

I am going to use the first tree picture in this post (w/ the monkey) and paint it on the wall with the crib. We are keeping the walls the color they are now (taupe) so the tree trunk will likely be dark brown or white and the monkey will be orange!

i would get the bumper, quilt, and skirt but then do plain sheets. i love PBK stuff but i always feel that their sheets are too busy.
