Okay...where have you had the most luck ordering/buying maternity clothes in your pre-pg size? Places always say "just order your pre-pg size", but the others disagree. I'm particularly concerned with pants. TIA!
With Target's Liz Lange stuff, I ordered all mediums (my pre-preg size) and everything has fit just fine. I have to try jeans on before buying (true before preg too) because I have a big butt and thighs and a more narrow waist.
No where. I think you will eventually go up a size. For my first pregnancy I ordered pants from Gap and they worked great until the end. I was so uncomfortable b/c they were too dang tight! I'm just counting on having to buy huge maternity clothes that hang on me now and have them fit later or end up going through 2 maternity wardrobes. Mainly I'm just buying huge stuff and I'm starting to fill them out!
So far, I've been good with my prepregnancy size. Actually I have one pair of pants that are a size up from my normal, and they are still too big and fall down.
At Old Navy I have had to buy a size smaller, and they fall down still, at Gap I am true to my size, and at Destination Maternity I have bought my pre-preg size, but they fall off so I am constantly tugging at those pants to keep them up.
Pea in the Pod has been the only place that my PrePG size has worked for me. Motherhood, Old Navy and Gap were all too big. I actually have a bunch of stuff to return to Destination Maternity tomorrow because their motherhood line sucks donkey bls.
Re: True to size PG clothes
i just got some maternity jeans from gap - pre-preg size. and i love them, super cute and fit great. they are the below the belly kind.
i've found many designer jeans you need to order a size or two up from pre-preg.
