Lurker here with an EFF question.
I've used reusable grocery bags for a long time and love them, however every once in a while I get plastic bags from the store b/c I use those bags in the bathroom trashcans and to pick up dog poop. What else could I use for those purposes that's more EF than a plastic bag that will be around for a billion years?
Thanks!
Re: What do you use in bathroom trashcans?
same here.?
I always end up with a plastic shopping bag here or there so if I have that I use it. I also use the plastic package from the toilet paper. I dump the can though into a bigger trash bag on trash day so the liner gets reused several times. The can must have a liner though or it gets nasty.
For animal poops, bread bags and cereal bags are good because they can't be recycled.
i don't use a bag in the bathroom either.
for dog poop on walks, i use some biodegradable corn bags (thank you, hula!) and toss them in the woods.?
