Hey! we are in exact same situation re switching DC#1 from daycare to nanny. I'm thinking about putting DS into a 2 or 3day MDO program but I am so confused how it will work since many of them are only frm 9-2...that would mean the nanny would have to pick him up while toting baby along. But I guess we;d have the nanny drive around with them anyway to go to the park, etc. Are you going to have the nanny do things with them during the day to get some interaction with other kids? I feel so overwhelmed by all of this (at least you found a nanny!) When are you due btw? I'm due in April, so will need a nanny late June.
Re: TexasHarmony
We haven't found one yet, but have some bites.
I am hoping the nanny can take them places - the park, zoo, playdates, etc. I am also thinking about an MDO program for Avery so she can stay "in school" so to speak.
I am due in April as well. I am hoping to have a nanny secured before that and home during my leave due to DH's schedule. My family is out of town, so the thought of being home all by myself with 2 kids for 2-3 weeks at a time so soon after delivery is overwhelming.
The whole process is a bit overwhelming though. I am very, very scared to hire one.
