Wee, Jessis, Rachi, anyone else...

Have your dr's given you an "estimated" size of the baby at this point?

OB said baby was estimated at 5 lbs right now... just wondered how her weight falls in with other babies at this point in the pg.  I read the bump's 'how big is baby' thing but wanted to ask real people too.

    At 31w, baby was estimated to be 3lbs 11oz.  I have no clue if that's big or little, but I know that around that time Babycenter said that between that time and full term baby would gain half of his birth weight... I'm not smart enough to do the math LOL

    LOL! Whoa... that makes me think mine is a little on the big side.  Especially since yours is a boy!

    No, he's said nothing.  I go back next week.  He just says the baby is growing the expected pace and my weight gain is OK.  Yeah, 32 lbb with 7 weeks to go....

    I'm going to assume giant baby and be thrilled when delivery is easier than anticipated.  Sounds like a great plan to me.

    LOL!  Sorry, work has been a biotch this week!

     

    Let me tell ya, we saw babies in the nursery on our tour Tuesday, and they were MUCH bigger than I had expected to see!  ::faints on floor::

    I'm not listening. la la la la... I can't handle the truth.  Ignorance is bliss at this point. DD was only 5 lbs and since she didn't need the NICU she went into the regular nursery.  I thought all the full-term babies looked huge compared to her. I'm very afraid.

    Sorry I am a bit late to this, I was at lunch.

    At my appointment on Tuesday the Dr. estimated that Chaz weighed 5lbs 12 oz. which she said was 'normal for this point in time. I am sure 'normal' has a wide spectrum but yeah. :)
