Just wanted to tell you as you start to play with the diapers(especially the prefolds):

1. Just assume that it'll take a few tries to get it down - that way you'll be less frustrated if you expect it ahead of time:)

2. If the prefolds seem a little tight - they're probably perfect. Just make sure you yank them around to get them tight around his legs and it'll make a big difference for you!

3. No matter how you get it on - just make everything is tucked into the cover with the prefolds and fitteds and it'll help lots.

    Thank you!  DH and I were talking about checking out pics/videos to help us learn.  I told him that it will take some time to become comfortable using them.  You saved me some searching so thank you!

    I put one of the KL0's that Jill gave me on him.  His first fluffy butt is very cute :)  I probably should have bought some prowraps b/c I tried a Thirsties cover but his umbilical cord stump is still there so I couldn't put it on him (it went up too high).  Hopefully the KL0 will holds things in for 2 hours b/c he's sleeping in it.

    Christina-- do you have XS Thirsties covers?  I was hoping to be able to use those on a newborn.

    I do have the xs thirsties covers.  They will be great as soon as his umbilical cord stump falls off.  They come up a little too high and rub against it so we'll wait.
