Uh-oh. Question about PP period

I think I had a period at about 11 weeks PP. It was basically just spotting, and I didn't even need a pad/tampon. Now, 5 weeks later, I haven't had any more bleeding at all. I took a HPT this morning, and it was negative. Maybe it's too early to test? I don't know what's going on. So, my question is, did regular cycles resume for you postpartum, or did you get a series of very weird cycles? (I wouldn't be upset if I were pregnant again, but my DH might not feel the same. No, we weren't using protection as it took us 2.5 years to get pregnant the first time, and we haven't had much sex at all lately.)

See ticker below.. It can happen (and we tried for 2 years and did 6 rounds of fertility drugs with the first)....

Did you nurse at all? I had my first cycle about 3 weeks after I stopped nursing and it was super heavy.. However, I know lots of people that take 4-6 months for a PP period...
