At each visit has there been progress or not? no, thankfully (I had dialated to 1 cm at 23 weeks and haven't progressed since then, which is obviously a good thing)

38 1/2 weeks

I am 2-3 cm dilated, at least 50% effaced(she never said at the last appt), the head is very low(again she never gave the exact #) We were talking too much

At my 37 week appt i was a loose 1 cm , finger on his head and 50% effaced.

At my 36 week appt (only 4 days before the 37 week appt) I was completely closed, -1 and 50% effaced.

38 weeks, I am a big 2 - almost a 3 and 80% effaced....not sure of station - he just said very low.....started having progress at 35 weeks.....more effacement each visit - but dialation is the same....

At each visit has there been progress or not? Yes, but not much. At 35 weeks (first internal) I was 1 cm, 50 %, baby was head down in birth canal. The next week (36 weeks) I increased 1/2 cm in dilation and she said I was a -3 station, baby is still head down. She said the cervix felt a little thinner, but she was still calling it a 50% effacement.

I am 34 weeks (and 3 days- counting day by day now on bedrest)

Had first internal at 33 weeks and 3 days for cx- no changes.

2nd was at 34 weeks and 1 day and my cervix was more anterior but no dilation or effacement. Baby still high.

Next internal hopefully not til 36 weeks.

was 1 cm dilated two weeks ago, no new update since then

Not sure how effaced I am or not

Didn't ask station but she appears to have dropped in the last few days or so

34 weeks

Can't say until Tuesday, chose to not do an appt this past week as regular OB is on vacation and have zero interest in meeting her one week fill in doc

Are you effaced if so to what? 80-90% last week

What week did you start getting progress? Internals started at 36 weeks, and I progressed -1 (36w) to 0 (37w)

At each visit has there been progress or not? We'll find out this afternoon!

i knew i shouldn't have opened this post. i've got nothing going on as far as progress goes.

1st internal last week at 36 wk, 2 days-no progress at all

2nd internal yesterday at 37 wk, 2 days-no progress at all, she couldn't even feel his head cause he is still so high. she pushed around my stomach to make sure he's head down and thought that the hard spot below my belly button felt very "head-like" and up by my ribs felt "butt-like"

she said she would let me go a week overdue before discussing any options. I really don't want to be induced, but the no progress at all appointment was pretty defeating.

oh well, he's gotta come out sometime! You hear that kiddo? You can't stay in forever!
