What are your V-day Plans??

I don't know if there was a post about this yet or not, but I'm so excited about ours that I wanted to share and see what everyone else is doing too :)

We normally dont' do anything.  We might go to dinner after v-day...crowds suck.  All I care about is that DH at least gets me a card...the rest isn't a big deal.

This year I really wanted to do something since it was on Saturday and we dont' have grown up time a lot.

SO :)  This year we are leaving Jax with my mom and going to dinner with another couple.  We are having dinner at The Farm in Dalton.  And since my friend's husband's father (hah) is a member, we will be eating for FREE!   We get to dress up and the menu is gonna be Filet and Lobster Tail.  Yum to filet!!  (DH and I do not eat seafood, but will take the lobster to my mom) 

I am so excited!!!

    Sounds like fun.

    We have no plans. Neither of us like to go out to eat on V-day with the crowds and the restaurants just do not do the food as well in our opinion. They try to feed to many people. So we'll do something at home and save the dinner out for after we see Kooza on the 21st.

    Sounds nice! We don't typically do anything for V-Day...usually just cook a nice meal at home and avoid restaurants and crowds, but this year DH will be headed to Daytona for the race....so I'll be home with the boys.

    We are having dinner at Dante's Down the Hatch and then going to the High Museum of Art.  Hope you have FUN!  Smile

    OH that sounds like fun! I think DH and I are going to do our usual and get eachother cards and candy and make a nice dinner at home from fresh market. We usually do champagne and dinner by the fire. Last year we found out Colin was a boy and bought baby furniture and had a special day. I am not sure anything we do can top that so we'll hang out with each other at home.

    Scott's mom will be in town that weekend to visit C, so we have a free babysitter!   I think we are going to do something low key like Mexican and a movie.  I would love to go to a nice dinner, but I hate how all the nice restaraunts do a pre-fixed menu for V-day.  But your dinner sounds yummy!  Have fun!

    Yum!!  That sounds so good.  We don't have any plans yet.  Haven't really thought about it.  We're all baby right now.

    We are going to see Kooza and have dinner. My parents are coming to visit that weekend just so they can watch DD for us and hang out with her!

    That sounds like a lot of fun.  Dh's plane is suppose to land around 2:30 p.m. that day.  He'll be flying in from Germany so he probably won't really be up for anything, but I told him that I would like to do something.  Dh has been gone the last 3 Valentine's Days and we've done nothing to celebrate them.  My mom lives near the airport and she's suppose to watch the boys for us.  I'd like to go to Atlanta for an early dinner and maybe see a movie.  Who knows, though?

    My MIL offered to watch Caroline, so I think we'll go to a movie and maybe a casual dinner (like La Parilla).  I really want to see "He's Just Not That Into You."  My birthday is 2 weeks after v-day, so we usually save the "special" dinner/celebration for then.

    Sounds like fun!

    We'll probably do cards and then maybe cook something at home and watch a movie.  My parents are in this week for B's birthday so we're having a date night tomorrow night at The Melting Pot.  I guess we could say that's our V-day plan! :-)

    That sounds like a great night out!  We are going to have the fire going, cook a nice dinner and just relax!
