that I am pregnant. I am excited about it because I am going to ask them to "name" the baby, then write a story about he/she. What's great about that is that I work in a VERY inner-city school where the most normal name here is Roszetta, so I am very much looking forward to the names that my kids come up with. They are fourth grade, so I think it'll work out pretty well.

I played hangman with my 3rd graders when I told them. They weren't allowed to shout out the answer once they figured it out. It was awesome to see the lightbulb go on as they figured it out one by one.
