so my gf ended up having a c/s

early this morning.  she went in yesterday to be induced (10 days late) and what the message I got from her H is that she had a "rushed section at 5:40am".  They thought the babe was going to be 8-9lbs but she was just under 7lbs.  I am curious to hear her whole birthstory. 

4 of us (including myself) all had the same Dr for our babies this year and 3 of us had unplanned c/s and the one who didn't maybe should have as she tore like crazy and the baby ended up with a some birth pretty serious trauma.

I wonder what their view on VBACs are as they would more than likely be who I went to see again with baby #2 down the road.

    My doctor has a crazy high c/s rate and on more than one occassion tried to tell me it was likely.  I hope your friend has a good recovery!

    yah me too!  i think I am going to bring her by some snacks when she gets out of the hospital.  I know I loved the big basket of cut up fruit I got from someone and maybe some juice boxes or cookies...

    Sounds a LOT like my birth. I was 41 weeks, Unsuccessful induction, Fetal Distress, Emergency c/s, Baby in NICU.

    Wishing her a great recovery! (And a successful VBAC down the road if she wants it!)

    I am glad that I did not have her doctor!?

    My induction took 3 days and I was on oxygen for 2 of them. But I did not get a c-section.?
