Stupid Bathtime ?

Do all babies scream when they get out of the bath?  I figured it was because he was cold, but man, does he have a huge meltdown until fully dressed and back in my arms.  He loves his baths, but I dread the taking him out part.  Hate.  It.  (He is almost 11 weeks)

  • Natalie was like that and still is sometimes.

  • Amelia is still that way every night. LOVES baths, but loathes getting out and dressed.
  • Jackson used to do that.  Now, we put a small space heater in the bathroom and turn it on when he is in the tub.  The room is really warm by the time he is ready to come out and he doesn't really get upset anymore.  If he does, we usually have a few random things lying around to distract him - his fave is his hairbrush.

Oh ditto this! Natalie is mesmerized by her hairbrush. We actually have one that stays in the bathroom drawer and one that we keep in the toybox. LOL.

  • My DS was like that as a baby.  I would have to dress him in the bathroom because he hated to be cold.
