DD is napping on me and I always found it helpful when moms would come back and answer questions. DD was born five weeks premature via a vaginal delivery.

PNP is a must have. We got one with a changing table and use it all the time for naps. I also like the bouncer. DD gets bored fast but the bouncer will at least get us through dinner. She hasn't used her activity mat much but hopefully she will as she gets older. I also like our Diaper Champ and our Angel Care monitor. I think the montior is another favorite because it gives us comfort knowing the motion sensor will go off if she stops breathing. Oh and the Moby wrap works great for when she wants to be held and I need to get things done.
I wouldn't get too many of one kind of bottle. We went through four different bottles before we found one DD liked. I can't really think of anything we registered for but didn't use. I was given a wipe warmer second hand and never used it. I wouldn't spend money on a bottle warmer either. A couple of hot water does the trick.
Hope that helps!

Re: Any questions for a mom of an 8 week old
Of the things you registered for/received before the baby was born, is there anything you haven't used once and feel it was a waste to have?
Anything you think is an absolute must-have?
Thanks!
