Are you getting sugar drink beforehand

to drink an hour before appt or do you have to go in, drink it then wait the hour? A couple of people that I have spoken to were given the drink to take before their appt. But my doc has us come in, drink, and wait.

What is your doc doing?

My doc gave me the drink in advance. I'll drink it just before my 24 week appointment.

Dr gave mine to me at my last appt. with the instructions. I am to write down exactly what time I get done with the last of it.

I have heard them do it both ways though.

My m/w scheduled it around my monthly check-in, so I went in to the lab and drank, went uptstairs for my check-in, and about 15 minutes after I was done, it was time to draw the sample to test, so then I just got to go home after they quickly did that.

I got my drink to take home at my last appt! I drink it next week before my appt!

I am getting it there. THankfully they are doing it the same day as my appointment so I drink it before the appointment and then have my appointment before the draw so I shouldn't have to sit in the lab too long.

Drink in office, wait, appointment then blood draw. I asked to take it with me and she said she would prefer me to drink it there. Seems like I am doing mine late, it will be at my 28 week appointment.
