Help me find socks that stay on!!!

I have tried everything. The only ones that do seem to stay on are the thicker ones that don't fold over from Gap or Gymboree. They only seem to sell them in themes to match certain outfits so they are always random. Does anyone have recommendations for socks that stay on? DD has skinny, small feet and likes to pull them off. I have resorted to putting her in tights as much as I can but it just isn't practical especially when you live in GA and it is normally not cold.

  • They don't exist.  Put her in some shoes (Robeez, Pedipeds, or knock-offs) and that should keep her from pulling the socks off.

  • Nope, they dont exist. Do the shoe thing. We have some Pedipeds and a knock off pair of robeez and they work great.
  • Ds got these for Christmas and they are the only ones that stay on his feet. I also love that they don't match so you can combine any 2 you like!

  • Old Navy has thick ones like the ones at Gap.  I found them in white as well, and they stay on great!
  • I haven't tried them but I read in a previous post about socks that Carter's makes "wiggle free" socks that people raved about.  I use Carter's bubble socks and they are the ONLY thing that works for DD - they stay onn without fail!

  • only ones that work sorta ok are the gap ones that are triple roll--I keep them all the way up.  Robeez help too.

I actually bought some of the Carter's kickproof socks and they stay on great!  I got some Target brand socks for my baby shower, and they come in a close second, but the Carter's stay on, even when DD tries and tries and tries to pull them off!

  • puma socks are the only ones that have stayed on her feet and she couldn't pull off.
  • I found these at Old Navy and they stay on great!  Cheap too!  We have them in white and pink.

  • They don't exist.  My DD does the same exact thing.  The Carter wiggle free socks fell off before I was out of the bedroom.  The only ones that stay on for a decent amount of time are the Carter Ballerina Socks.  They look like little shoes.  There the only ones I've had luck with.
  • My DD would CONSTANTLY pull off her socks (and smile with pride) and it was driving me crazy.  The only socks that stay on her, and that she really (really, really) has to work at pulling off, are Target's Circo brand baby socks.  They are just plain white socks that come up to the ankle and don't fold over...but they work!  Good luck.

  • They all get pulled off...  But some also "work their way off" worse than others.  The best I have found are Carters (fuzzy/plain multipacks) w/ colored tops, Circo long (double fold) socks and some of the ones from Gymboree...all can be hiked up to her knee, so they stay on longer.
  • Ankle socks are the only ones that will stay on DS.  I just bought some Faded Glory (Wal-Mart brand) ones for him last week, and they hardly ever come off.  I got size 6-18 months.
