DS is getting bigger and I dont want/need to carry around a whole diaper bag of things all the time anymore. I usually just need his sippy, a snack and maybe 1 diaper and wipes if we are going out for a few hours. Ive been shoving all these things into my purse but was wondering what other mommies use. Is there some kind of smaller diaper bag out there? I might also just pick up a cute tote or something that will serve all these purposes. Any ideas are welcome! TIA!
Re: tired of carrying big diaper bag
I just use an oversized black tote bag type of purse. it has three sections inside. I use one side for mommy stuff the middle zippered section for his diaper stuff (2 diapers, wipes and hand sanitizer) and the third section is for a extra binky, a small toy and a snack. I also might throw a bottle in there if a feeding will be needed while I am out.
I don't like carrying a diaper bag so I am glad mine looks more like a purse and isn't huge.HTH!

I made myself a diaper carrier. It holds 2-3 diapers, a tube of butt paste, and travel wipes. I put it in my purse and it keeps it organized and away from my other things.
I'll have them in my etsy shop in the next couple of weeks when I relaunch it.
My Blog
Since I have been a nanny for so many years- this is the exact reason why i didn't put so much time/effort/money into finding the 'perfect' diaper bag. I have used from day one- a travelon messenger bag. Which i have used for years anyway-

No it doesn't have frilly colors or beautiful prints. however- it gets the job done, carries my wallet, cell, keys, and everything for her. diapers, change of clothes, cheerios, food/spoon, changing pad (folded)-
I am a minimalist- i have used this bag in my travels all over- if its good enough for that- baby's things can definitely go in there. Its a handsfree bag- can be worn across chest or over arm. its a lifesaver.
I remember seeing these Re-Run MicroPods when I was shopping for DD's arrival. I'm thinking of getting one for those quick errands when I don't need the entire backpack full of things.
