LOL! I just saw the preview for this again on TV today and told my dh that I thought it would be a really cute name with nn Cora.

I think its pretty, but I do think it might get confused with Caroline and your DD might get called Caroline a lot by mistake.

I saw that preview, too, and that was the first time I had ever heard Coraline. I've always thought Cora was a cute name.

a friends co-woker just named her daughter Cora which I thought was really cute. Never heard of Coraline til this movie though...

I have never heard that name before, but I like the nickname Cora. I don't know how I feel about the full name being Coraline though. I don't dislike it, but I don't love it either.

I actually love this name. We were thinking of Cora Lynn... and now Coraline came out... so now I don't want to use that name because I don't want people to think we got the name from the movie.

Only from the book the movie was based on.

The character in the book always had to tell people how to say it. Might be a problem in real life too. Otherwise, I think it's pretty.
