so i have a question...

in 3rd Trimester

and i keep forgetting to ask my dr about this...

?

when you go into labor, and they say to call and say how far apart your contractions are etc. ?do you call your dr or do you call the actual hospital??

?

this has made me confused for quite some time now?

    I'm supposed to call my doctor. My doctor has also said the when mine get 10min apart (which I'm really doubting i'll go into labor on my own) I need to just go in because I am so far away.

    I think it depends, if its the middle of the night you probably won't be able to get ahold of your actual dr right away, so I would call the hospital and then call your OB's after hours line to page the dr...or wait til you get to the hospital and have them call your dr

    Im supposed to call the desk where i normally make my appointments if it is after hours the number will automatically transfer me to L&D. my Dr. wont come in just for me.. i just get whoever is on call.

    thanks ladies!! im gonna talk to my dr on thursday about it too, i think if its after hours i will just call L&D and say "who do i talk to if there is a person coming out of my uterus?"
