Funny because I actually felt pretty good in the first tri, only got tired near the end and it just sort of continued into the second tri.
I've also heard that it gets better a little later in the 2nd so maybe you just aren't far enough along?? on that note, I am at 17 or 18 weeks and exhausted.
It was true for me starting around 21 or 22 weeks. It's not as much as I had pre-preg, but enough to make me feel like a normal person. I also don't have to nap every day.
Yup, myth. Unless it's referring to the constant insomnia I have which is making me even more exhausted. I can fall asleep in 30 seconds, but staying asleep is another story.

Around 19-20wks my energy started to pick up- not like before but I feel normal most of the time. Actually until I really started to notice all of my clothes not fitting I didn't even really feel preg. Good luck to you!

I think it just depends on the day. Winter has been rotten, so I'm blaming that on the reason why I hide under the blankets. We had a day where the temp hit 65 though, and I was out cleaning, took a walk, etc. I blame it all on the weather.
I'm 16 weeks and 2 days and I'm still exhausted! Not as exhausted as I was a few weeks ago but I have yet to experience the great burst of energy that everyone is talking about!!
I definitely have more energy than I did in my 1st tri but not the same as pre-pg. I still want to settle down after work and not get off the couch til it's time for bed. But I'm not nearly as exhausted as I was in 1st tri fighting to stay awake at work no matter how great sleep was the night before...
i've actually gotten some energy back the past 3 or 4 weeks. still more tired than pre-pg, but definitely feeling better than 1st tri. i'm enjoying it while it lasts!
I have had more energy within the last week. I can definitely tell a difference from first tri. Of course it comes and goes. I'm not always so energetic!
Re: Energy in the 2nd tri? Urban legend?
so far I have to say yes, it is a legend!

Maybe it happens later? LOL!
I left work early due to the snow in NJ and fell asleep for almost two hours. Now I won't sleep at night, of course, but I'm zonked!

I'm feeling a little better energy-wise than I did in 1st tri, but I am still exhausted almost all the time.
Ditto! Mine is back, but not quite as much as pre-pg.

Yeah, if this is energy, I hate to see what is lack of energy
