Hey, I read that you went to a baby day movie in Chicago..... We live far north side of the city, was the theater you went to in teh city or burbs, we have been dying to go to the movies- but no dice.... Would love to know where they have them in Chi..

    They have them at Kerasotes theatres every Tuesday. I went to the one in Lincoln Park today. They're wonderful. If you ever want to meet up I'd go to one with you! Here's a link to the info on Kerasotes website. They have a newsletter you can sign up for that will email you the times for your theatre that week. You can always look on their website too. The Tuesday baby times are in red.?

    YAY!!!!!!  Thanks so much, gotta say (and hate to say it "out loud") but living in Chi, I NEED to find somewhere to go out with Alleena, or I am gonna go NUTS.  TG, shes a good baby, but get stir crazy when the only place I go all week is the gym (taking turns with DH) or class on Thursdays... Can't WAIT to try this.  BTW, would love to meet up and go, we live in the RP (rogers park), right off red line, hop and skip from LP.  We are the only ones of our friends to have a kid in the city, so it totally gets a bit lonely... Ironic, looked at your bio, I lived in NYC for 2 yrs, and my DH and I have been together since 1997 (married in 2005).  Small coinicdences!!  Anyway, thanks, and lets try to do coffee/movie?

    and i'm with you on being the only one with a baby. most of my best friends are still in nyc, then the friends we do have here - well only 1 other couple has a baby so i'm ?really trying to meet some new people so i don't lose my mind!!!

    I'll get right on that (doing online lectures that I am only semi-paying-attention to)... I hear ya, not sure if its city living or what, but cautious is my usual MO.  Yay!  Movies!!  What did you see today??

    Its so weird, never thought I'd feel lonely, I'm usually a social butterfly, but its hard to be as active when you have a 3 mo old... Friends today were like, hey, wanna see the wolves play??  I am unsure that having Allie get beaned by a puck would put me in teh mommy hall of fame... I CRAVE mommies to hang with!
