How soon did you call Dr after bfp?

I got a bfp on Sat at 3w4d, my longest LP was 15 days, which would be tomorrow, so I was going to call on Thurs. Did everyone else call right away?

I called the day I got BFP to schedule an appointment, which wasn't until 8-10 weeks.

I called right away. They'll decide when they want to see you, but it doesn't hurt to get in their appointment books right away. Sometimes in can be difficult to get in if you call too late.

I called right away, by my dr was out of town and I didnt want to see a diff one in the office. So I had to wait an extra 2 wks.

I called the day I got my BFP and they scheduled me for an appt for when I'm 8 weeks. I'd say call right away...you're pregnant!!

I got my bfp on a Thursday or Friday and called for an appt on Monday. My doc doesn't schedule 1st appts until 8wks, so I wasn't in a huge rush.

I called like 3 days later...it was right before x mas so I wasnt sure if she could get me in but she got me in that day. I wasnt in a hurry ecause all I needed from her was a confirmation and a referral to an OB

Thanks girls... I should have mentioned that my dr. won't see me until 8 weeks so I wasn't in a major rush. Still have another month to go...

I got BFP on a Saturday and called on Monday to make my appointment they didnt see me until 8wks though. But call you never know what will happen, I had to call and get a script for nausea.

i called the next day - i got a bfp at 10dpo (3w5d along). they dont see people until 8-12 weeks, so my appt is in a few weeks.

I called right away and they sent me for bloodwork. After those results, they would have had me wait 6 weeks. Then I had cramping, so they had me to come in that day (yesterday) and sent me for more bw this morning. I would call right away - it can't hurt!

I waited a full week to call so I can verify all my insurance info and get a doctor recommendation from a couple friends that just had babies. They were able to get me in within a week for my first appointment (only with the RN and will be lab work), but I wont be able to get in for my first appointment with my doctor now until I am almost 11 weeks.

Yes, I called and they brought me in the same day for HCG levels (i had a loss before). I say cll now.

I found out on a Thursday night and called to make my first appointment that Friday because I knew I probably would have to wait a few weeks for the appointment.

After the initial celebration between me and my DH I called the hospital immediately Stick out tongue Unfortunately, it's at the end of this month (27th), but I'll be pushing 8 weeks then and will be able to hear the heartbeat!!!
