When is Nesting supposed to kick in?

So, when is this whole nesting thing supposed to kick in? I'm still feeling pretty lazy.

Not yet for me either.. I want things clean, but I still want it magically done. I hope it kicks in soon, my house is starting to get messy again!

I've started to do it now, but I feel like it will really kick in when I stop working - in 14 days!! AHHHH!!!!

i'm exhausted right now. nesting doesn't even sound appealing to me. i have absolutely no motivation whatsoever to do anything that resembles house work. pretty sure nesting won't start for several more weeks for me.

Mine hasn't really kicked in either. ?I just want things magically done. ?I just need to find the motivation to get started, and once I do, I can't stop.

It started Sunday and whenever I have the energy I am doing something now. DH is really feeling the brunt of the nesting moods. He is really good about it though and really has been a great help.

It started this weekend for me - on and off when I am feeling energized. I never had the urge kick in when I was pregnant with my son so this is all new! :-)

I was wondering the same thing the other day b/c I was feeling just like you! LOL Well I've actually been sleeping like crap lately so I've been pretty tired and lazy. But last night I had an amazing sleep (..i put earplugs in my ears!!!, tonnes of pillow under my belly so i could sleep on my tummy and i had only 1 cup of coffee in the a.m) so this morning when i woke up at 9:00 I was feeling completely rested. It's 2:30 pm now and I've cleaned the entire nursery (washed down the furniture, walls + window), vacuumed the house, did 2 loads of laundry and i just finished making 3 loaves of banana bread! I'm feeling pretty good b/c I've been really slacking with the housework lately! I'm going to have to make sure my hubby hears what I've all done today! ;-) Either this is the beginning of nesting for me, or I'm just having an energetic day??

it has kicked in for me! I all of a sudden want EVERYTHING done NOW... but I think it's because our furniture got delivered yesterday and my shower is Saturday, so I'm ready to get things organized!
