Maybe the unit I have is just old school, but do they make one that doesn't make the floor soaking wet?
I have it on the carpet and I do lay a towel down, but when I turn it off in the morning the towel is soaked. It's ultrasonic and doesn't have any settings (just off and on, and the spout thing where the mist comes out can be adjusted to control how much mist comes out. I have it set so the least amount possible comes out.)
Note: It doesn't leak, the mist that comes out is what makes the floor soaked...
Re: Do they make a humidifier that doesn't soak the floor?
Ours is Holmes brand from Target; we got them in a 2-pack. No wet floors.
