So my friend who is pregnant again (doesn't know the sex) but had three boys did this, and it was right for all three of her boys. I want to know what it says for you!
You take your age (at conception) plus your husband's age (same time) and add it to the month they were conceived in!! If it's an odd number, it's a boy, and if it's even, it's a girl!
Here are my friends':
Brandon was 21+22+10 = 53 BOY
Colin 23+24+12 = 59 BOY
Alex 24+25+8 = 57 BOY
This baby 27+29+10 = 66 GIRL
OK here is MINE:
24 (my age)+27(DH age)+12 (december)= 63 BOY!
What does yours say? And for those who KNOW the sex of their baby, was this right??
ETA: THe month they were conceived in!! Sorry! So my baby was conceived in December, hence the 12! Sorry about that!

Here's mine:
28(me)+33(DH)+3 (March)=64, but we know it's a boy, so that must mean he's coming early - this month!
Good I am not alone! I keep reading it and still don't get it!
Mine says girl and we are having a girl... I used the month she is due, I'm confused on that 3rd # too?
Edit...still says girl after using month she was conceived
Well, I apparently O'd 2 days before his b-day, so it's hard to tell. But if I go by that...
DH (30) and me (26) and 10=66 So girl. But... If you go by when I found out DH would have been 31 so it would be boy... Oh, so close...
I think it will be a boy though, but we shall find out next Wed!!!

Haha, sorry guys, pregnancy brain rears its ugly head--the month the baby was CONCEIVED. I'm brilliant! lol
Well shoot. If it's the month that baby is due (edd July 2) than my number would be 63 boy going by O date or girl if going by testing date. And that's assuming I don't go 2 days early!
Ok, edit again; Dh's B-day and conception month is the same, so see first post, which would be accuarte.

this equation gives me 62, which means girl and that's what the chinese gender chart says too. We don't know the sex, but we have been leaning towards a boy. Also, psychic Brooke (how's that for an oldie but goodie!) said it'd be a boy too.
We'll see next Tuesday!
23+27+9=59 Boy
Not right for me the tech guessed a girl and everything so far online (chinese chart etc.) has been a girl also. We'll see on the 17th if its changed! (Kinda hopefully not to but then again a boy would be nice to)

For 1st pregnancy (late loss) 23 (me) + 24 (DH) + 4= 51 (Boy) and it was a Boy!
For this pregnancy: 24 (me) + 25 (DH) + 12 = 61, another boy!
I'll find out in late April or May, so far my intuition has been saying girl though, so we'll see!!!
Ok, let's see:
Pg #1 (dd)= 22+21+9=52 GIRL correct
Pg #2 (ds)= 30+30+1=61 BOY correct
Pg #3 (m/c #1)= 32+32+8=72 GIRL (don't know)
Pg #4 (m/c #2)= 32+32+11=75 BOY wrong
Pg #5 (baby no name)= 33+33+6=72 GIRL wrong
So, that gives me about a 50/50 rate of accuracy, not too reliable.
26 (me) + 26 (dh) + 4 (april) = 56 even, but was Seth, so, wrong
28 (me) + 28 (dh) + 12 (december) = 68, even, so...we'll see
I guess I could "make" this be right with Seth if I use March as his month of conception, since 3/25 was the date of last menstrual cycle used in determining my edd, even though I didn't O, and therefore, conceive, until April.....

ok, here is mine:
me (28)+ DH (28)+7=63, but we know it is a girl and by this it says I am having a boy. It was right for my son though, i wonder if there will be a surprise in the delivery room.
Correct for me for both kids. Kind of freaky!
(And I have no way to prove it but with m/c #1 I had a strong girl feeling, and this would be correct for that also.)

24+37+9=70 which would mean GIRL but trust me its a BOY!!!

our number comes out be be 82, which means two things:
Bunny is a girl and I've been thinking boy this whole time
and-
my husband and I are really old
haha
Ok mine is:
25 (my age) + 27 (DH's age) + 5 (May) = 57, so boy!!
I would really like a boy, if I have a girl I will be happy to, but I just have a gut feeling that its a boy. We will see in a few short weeks!!
