I borrowed my cousins peanut shell and my DD loves it. She is asleep in minutes. I've been using it a lot at home since my DD loves being held otherwise she's screaming. I'm still able to do things around the house.

I had both and hated both after 8 weeks. They killed my neck. Then I tried 2 different Bjorns, they killed my lower back then found the MobyD, great carrier, I can STILL use it with the back carry with my toddler. Get a Moby or an Ergo.
The Moby looks complicated but only took 2 tries for me to get it right.
i hate my peanut shell. even from the 1st month, it seemed tight and uncomfortable and i think i got the right size. difficult to remove her from and i still felt like she wasn't in it securely and used my arm to cradle, which defeats the purpose of baby wearing. i wish i got a mei tai instead.
I have Hotslings in two different sizes - DD hates it when I hold her in it, but likes it if DH uses it. Of course, this only works around the house, since DH would never wear the sling in public!
