    yep. ugh. she's mentally ill, and i really wish someone wouldn't pay for it. unfortunately, they will, she'll make millions and the idea of getting rich of having a trainwreck life is perpetuated.

    I heard that her mom was interviewed by the LA Times and said she did. But who knows for sure... if she did do you really think that Dr will admit to implanting 8???

    Don't you just wonder how a doctor who would allow this to happen can stay licensed?  It really makes me wonder.

    And it sucks that the media glamorizes (sp) births like these.  Seriously, how glamorous is it to be pregnant with 8 babies and then to try to feed, clothe and diaper them.... not ot mention caring for the other 6 children she already has.  *sigh*

    I hope someone does something about her Dr, he's given IF treatments a bad wrap by facilitating her.  And I hope that she will take the money she makes and use it to lay low and raise her children responsibly no matter how irresponsible she's been to bring them into the world.  Though I doubt that will happen.

    According to the mother, but I am still skeptical.  And even my RE said if it was IVF it was probably in Mexico.

    Mexico... that could explain how a single mother of six could afford it.

    The whole thing is just plain WRONG. We are not built to have litters of children--especially intentionally and when you can't pay for them. This is a slap in the face to anyone who has IF issues and who does IVF for the RIGHT reasons. No one should EVER have done that for her. And WHY, WHY WHY would she do that after already having 6 kids, legally bankrupt, and living in a tiny-ass house with her parents? She is messed up. It makes me SICK!

    Supposedly, all 14 are from IVF AND from the same sperm donor, but no one is saying who that is, though 4 of the kids have a birth cert. saying "David Solomon" is their dad...whoever that is.  She went and had the other 8 implanted after having 6 already because she still had 8 embryos frozen from the last time and didn't want them to go to waste. AND someone who helped her years ago with one of hers kids asked her how she was doing it and she said she was getting paid for it?!?!?!?!  The mom is supposedly done with her and leaving her to take care of the kids on her own, instead of being an enabler, but I think it's a little late for that.

    I also heard she was/is/wants to work on a degree in counseling. As a therapist, this scares me. She can't be mentally stable to let her body go through with that and then think she can actually raise them, so how can she possibly help others? She can't even care for her other 6 children. I don't know, maybe she's not crazy, but a big part of me doubts it.

    Can you imagine what her body went through and what it must have felt like carrying 8 babies. 1 baby wore me out, I really can't imagine 8.

    And you know what else is F-ed up here?  This lady is being rewarded while the doc is being bashed (rightfully so, and hopefully punished).  It seems like they both should be punished!

    I agree... like if you go through an elective procedure to have more children when you have 6 that you can't afford... you shouldn't be able to receive gov't assistance.

    Do you think she did it because she knew she'd probably be offered a tv show or something else that would make her rich?  It just wouldn't make any sense otherwise to do that to yourself...other than complete insanity
