Re: Hospital Bag?

  • Loading the player...
  • I am not bringing much at all... a robe, a gown, even though I probably won't wear it- a pair of undies, something to wear home, chapstick, deoderant, toothbrush and for the baby I am only bringing a couple outfits- that she prob won't need and a pair of socks.. I am not bringing the diaper bag.. just put the outfits in a smaller bag-- oh and the baby book for footprints. I think that is it.. I probably am very underpacked.
  • As long as you have a crockpot and a $90 gown, you will be good to go.

    My list:

Me: nursing tank, sweats, socks, hoodie, toiletries, lip gloss, hair brush, magazines, cell phone and charger, camera, laptop

Baby: going home outfit, hat, blanket, pacis

DH: pjs, extra outfit, contact stuff, glasses, toiletries

  • I agree with a lot of the posts that pack as little as possible.  however, I also have a change of clothes for DH and swimsuit for him to help me in the shower.
  • I know alot of women will tell you not to pack a diaper bag because the hospital will give you everything you need as in diapers and wipes.. but i would check with your hospital, as mine does not send you home with the big formula company diaper bag full of crap. they are huge advocates on breastfeeding and cloth diapering so they send you home with a cloth diaper on your baby and a number to call for breastfeeding assistance. So i have a full diaper bag packed.. its not that long of a drive home but what else do i have to do with my time now the bag is packed and i dont have to worry about it the first time we want to go somewhere!
