As a GPer, I'm curious to hear about your exercise programs before you got that BFP. Did you slow down any while you were trying, during the 2ww, at all?
Thanks ladies!

Well, I probably would have kept up running like I did before TTC, but since my 2ww was during Christmas vacation and we traveled back to Houston, San Antonio, Edinburg and Premont Texas, I didn't exercise at all.
I work out 3-4 times a week. Run a mile, 30 minutes on the elliptical, weight lifting.
I've stopped running since getting pg.
That's good to hear. Did you do abs work as well? I'm sure everything is fine as long as you listen to your body and make sure you're not overdoing it, but it's nice to hear what others have done.

Before the BFP I would run a mile and walk 1.5 miles on the treadmill and throw in some situps 4 or 5 times a week. Now Im only walking about 2 miles on the treadmill because if I try to jog it makes me nauseas (found this out today!). I think Im going to follow the bump "exercising through preganancy" )

of course! You can't hurt the "baby," I promise. Or affect implantation.
Thanks, Blair! It's the implantation part that always freaks me out a little. Of course, my common sense tells me if it's a viable pregnancy, you can't really stop implantation. Just like if it's a non-viable pregnancy, all the pineapple core in the world won't help. I think TTC has made me a little nutty.

Yep, I try to remember what my mom told me -- if it's a good pregnancy, there is very little you can do to "un-stick" it. If it's not going to stick to begin with, there is very little you can do to make it stick.
I've been a regular runner (25-35 miles/week) before TTC and continued to run, do ab work and yoga during the 2ww. After I got the BFP, I stopped until I got the dr's okay. They just told me that I can continue to run as long as I listen to my body and stop if I feel any ill effects. I did stop doing ab work but continued with yoga.
I haved to use the treadmill because of the ice and snow here (I more afraid of falling than overdueing it). The only thing that slows me up is having to stop and use the bathroom in the middle of the run :-)
I also went XC skiing this past weekend. I just tried to stick to flat trails so I wouldn't risk falling on the downhills.
I slowed down considering that I was training for a triathalon this coming summer. I still keep up the basics though. I run/walk 6 miles a day 3 days a week, Cross training video (like Taebo) 2 days a week, and I lift 2 days during the week. As soon as the weather gets nicer I'm hoping to take the road bike out a few days too. My goal is to at least keep my fitness level so when I pickup training in the fall I won't be too far behind.
same running & light weight lifts as usual... slowed to long walks now instead of my runs to be safe and keep heart rate below the recommended BPM for being pregnant.
