  For my SIL's "sprinkle" (second pregnancy)  we got gift bags and each bag got a letter to spell out twins.  Inside the bags was an item that started with that letter (T- teether, W- wipes I- (can't remember?), N- nipples, S- sleeper).  Guests had to write down what they thought was in each bag, the person who guessed the most won. For favors we did "Tea for Two"/ "Twins are Brewing" and gave two tea bags and biscotti in a cute box.

  Congratulations on the twins!  For my shower the theme was two peas in a pod.  We did not have any twin specific games.  The one thing that they did at my shower which was the biggest help was a diaper raffle (My SIL had just been at a shower where there was one).  On the invitation was "bring a bag of diapers for a chance to win a basket of goodies" (or something like that).  At my shower they won a gift basket with a bunch of goodies from the Body Shop at the shower that my SIL was at someone won a wine and cheese basket.  Anyway I just had to buy my forst pack of diapers this past weekend.  It was such a tremendous help!  It also kinda worked out too... people bought diapers instead of all those cutesy add-on things that you don't really need anyway.  Good luck!

  We did a famous twins game for our friend. I think another friend found it online, but here are a few:

  TBT (literature) : The Bobsy Twins

  TMT (sports): The Minnesota Twins

  MK and A O (entertainment): Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen

  K and V J-P (celebutantes to be): Knox and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt

   

  We also asked people to bring diapers and wipes and we handed out raffle tickets. You got one ticket for coming, one ticket for bringing diapers and one ticket for bringing wipes. The tickets all had twin sayings on them like "something pink and something blue, "Friend" is having one, not two."

   And for decor, we did pink and blue and I made two diaper wreaths to hang at the front. The wreaths were a big hit and they were really easy to make, even for non-crafty me. If you want photos, let me know.

  for my sister (who had twin girls) we did a 'two peas in the pod' theme.  it was very cute.

  here are some pictures of the decorations..in the one picture in the background you can see pictures hanging on a string.  i hung up baby pictures of my sister and husband on some ribbon using small pink clothes pins.
