Funny story: daycare thinks my DD is a genius

When we clean up after meals, we always sing the Laurie Berkner song, "I'm a mess, I'm a mess. I'm a M-E-S-S MESS! From the north to the south to the east to the west, what I am is a really really big MESS!"

Today at daycare, they went to clean up Gina after lunch. The teacher said "Oh Gina, you are a mess today!" Gina promptly says, "I'm a mess. M-E-S-S mess!" The head teacher said they were all speechless.

Court- I love her to death, but she is SO much work. No fun taking her places yet. She will just cry the whole time, and she only lets me hold her. Trust me. At least she will sleep in her swing if she is home. I need to find some sukka to come here and watch her swing.

LOL

DS will count to 20 while he's playing and the daycare thinks he is amazing. It is totally rote learned from his old daycare but it is very cute. He can count for real (as in count off items) up to about 12 only.
