What due date do I go by?

in 1st Trimester
I did the online stuff where you enter your last period and got Oct. 13, but when I called today to make my first appointment they said my est. due date is Sept. 29th. So which one does everyone go with until the check up?

    My Dr. counted with the first day of your last period as I did. What date are they going by to chart it from?

    if you haven't seen your doctor yet and haven't had a dating ultrasound i am not sure what they are basing that estimate on.  is your cycle 28 days - if it is then using your LMP is pretty accurate.

    I'm thinking they miscalculated...I'd ask again when you go in for your 1st appt.  I would go by the one you calculated from your LMP.

    What was the date of lmp? The dr will basically add one week to your lmp to get the date, then subtract 3 months to get the month. If you have erratic cycles that doesn't work out so well

    They always (I think) start counting on the first day of your last period. ?Hmm...the online date & the one my doctor gave were the same for me. ?If yours are different, I'd trust the dr.

    My last period was on January 6th and I'm on a 28 day cycle. Always regular I cannot remember the last time It didn't come when expected. I thought it seemed off....

    in that case october 13th is the day - of course they rarely show on the exact day!

    If the first day of your LMP was 1.6.09 then I count that you are due on 10.13.09

    just note, when you go in for your first u/s your due date may change once they measure the baby
