Do you give your LO gas drops before feeding, after, or do you put them in formula.. which way have you noticed works the best?

Re: for those who use gas drops

  • I put them in the bottle.  Never tried it by itself.

  • I give him them after when he seems to have some gas- he doesn't get gas as often anymore, but when he was 2 or 3 weeks we gave it to him after every feeding at night- during the day he seemed fine.

  • He's BF'ed and we always do it after a feeding if he's acting gassy. He only gets them once or twice a week.?

  • I bF so sometimes before I feed if she is nursing to sleep or after if I notice her being gassy.

  • I do it after feeding and always have, but I think that's only because that's what the instructions say.  I haven't tried any other way.
  • I add a few drops to his bottle (formula) every feeding b/c it also takes the bubbles out of the formula.
