I'm off to the Stock Show!

Woot.

The president of my co. is taking a bunch of us, paid, to the Ft. Worth stock show and rodeo this afternoon.  :)

    cows cows cows cows magic show cows cows cows cows cows petting zoo cows cows cows cowboys cows cows cows cows bulls bulls bulls pissed off bulls ;) and more cows, with some sheep dog trials too.  :D

    Hee hee, I know I've missed a lot, but that was fun.

    what a fun field trip! The most exciting we ever get is going to see one of our fabricators about once/twice a year and he occassional site visit!

    It's a bunch of Ag people and livestock owners, that come to show their animals and products ... and then theres a rodeo as well. The company I work for is an auto insurance mutual co. for agricultural workers in the state of Texas ... so we obviously show out there and do a lot of business at the stock show. Our president is on the board I think as well so he gets a bunch of free tickets.

    It was really cute to see all the little kiddos in boots and hats ... on the pony rides and petting the baby goats ... I can't wait to take the mouse next year :)

    If they have llamas we'll have to skip it.  DH is highly allergic to llamas, something we found out at the Renaissance Festival when we stopped to LOOK at the llamas.  Walked away and five minutes later it looked like someone had punched him in the eye.  Damn llamas.

    Cows?  REALLY?  Neato!  ;)

    I think I'm going to be the only parent going in the petting zoos with T, unless we carry industrial strength Claritin with us.  :)

    So I take it they have a few cows there?  LOL That sounds like fun!!!  I will have to take Keanan one day.  Although I will need some Claritin too...

    When I was little I remember the best part was the little chick incubator. I got to see the eggs hatch and it was the coolest thing ever. I can't wait to do stuff like that with A :)
