Random mother in law advice

So I received an e-mail from my mother in law today which went on to say when you guys decide on a name for the baby do not tell anyone. Her reasoning is even better, because to her it just does not seem right. I am so looking forward to all the rest of her "wonderful" motherly advice she is going to give me. Huh?

Don't tell her anything, then when she complains, tell her you didn't know all the rules and didn't want to tell her something that does not seem right.

Personally, when I get pg I don't want to tell anyone the name until it's born. I would rather not hear everyones opinions on the names I like, if DH and I like them, that's all that matters!!!

Isnt it awsome how MIL's think they can tell you what to do more than your own mother does! lol I would just not tell her at all and tell her its not right to tell....then everyone will know but her!

Don't get me wrong I totally understand why some people choose to tell what they're naming their child and others keep it secret, however I also feel it is not my MILs place to be placing rules on me and my experience with my child. And come on I am 10 weeks, we haven't even entertained the name game yet!
