Mine prefers to be in the transverse position right now- her head is on my right and her feet are on my left. She likes to swim around though (and decidedly does not like to have her heartbeat taken nor being pushed down upon by the ultrasound wand thing). Since I'm only 20 weeks my doc says nothing to worry about- she'll turn when I'm 7-8 months.
My first pregnancy was breech until 8.5 months. And let me tell you, a baby turning upside down in your almost 9 months pregnant belly is NOT a pleasant experience.
Don't worry - when I went for my big ultrasound she/he was in breech position, but by the time the ultrasound was about over the baby had flipped and was head down. The nurse told me they move constantly at this age because there is so much room in there!
She's breach right now and seeks content to stay that way. I'm still consistently getting kicked below the bikini line on the left side. I'm really hoping she moves because I'm hoping to avoid a c-section.
Anyone try any of the old wive's tales for getting a baby to turn? I've been doing the flashlight move every now and again, obviously it isn't working.
Re: Is anyone else's baby breech right now?
It's a GIRL!!
My baby was breech at the big u/s too, but she'll flip over many times before it's anything to worry about. There's still lots of room in there!
our little girl is footling breech. no need to worrk though, they flip around so much.

Yes, I'm not worried - just wondering!
Mine wasnt breech so much as sideways. But then he kept flipping over. LOL! if thats any sign of what to expect I think he will be busy.
