Crying while sleeping??

Jack has crying or fussing while he has been sleeping since Saturday night.  He has needed his pacifier or to be held at night since then giving us no sleep.  I have literally had 5 hours of sleep in the past two days.  Has anyone else had this?  What can I do to stop this?

Re: Crying while sleeping??

  • Natalie has done this when she has either not been feeling well/has gas or with some of teething.  We noticed the most when her first year molars came in she just wouldn't put herself back to sleep but all babies are different and if his teeth are starting to come in, they might be bothering him at night.  Hang in there and hope it gets better!!

  • Sierra did that when she started getting teeth in.  We propped up the crib mattress and when it got really bad we would keep her in our room and let her sleep propped up on a pillow.  We would also give her Tylenol but it didn't seem to help.  Hopefully you'll get a nap in today.  Good luck and hang in there.

  • thanks... I ended up taking him to the Dr and he has an ear infection... poor Jack.. I am hoping to get some sleep tonight!
  • awww -- poor Jack!!! I hope he's feeling better and getting some better sleep for you QUICKLY!!!
