Why we still use bumpers

The cats were racing around the upstairs and woke up the babies. Alice is fussing. Charlotte is on her hands and knees rocking back and forth...rigorously. Bashing her head into the bumper. And she'd totally do it even if her head was hitting the wooden crib since she'll crawl up to the wall and bash her head into the wall repeatedly!

Strange, strange baby.
